I know what it's like to start a business from scratch. So I build software that makes your life easier.
A 0→1 startup, years inside contractor offices, and a small business of my own in Barcelona. I know where it hurts — and I care about the details that get a small company off the ground. 12 years building production software, AWS-certified, available across EST and CET.

The details that make or break a small business
The unglamorous things most developers skip are exactly the ones that decide whether your product earns trust or quietly loses customers. Those are the ones I obsess over.
Software people actually trust
Fast, modern web apps with React / Next.js that don't fall over when a customer is mid-checkout — built to feel solid from the very first click.
Money that adds up
Payments, billing and integrations that reconcile to the cent — so you're not hunting for errors in a spreadsheet at midnight.
Quiet at 3am
Serverless on AWS, designed for reliability and clean scaling — no surprise outages, and no surprise bills when you start to grow.
A partner who sweats the details
Tech-lead experience taking products 0→1. I obsess over the edge cases and rough corners most developers skip — the ones your customers always find first.
Enterprise-grade work, at your service
The same engineering that powers a platform serving thousands of locations — applied to your single product.
Kite by Playlist — from early-stage product to live enterprise platform
I joined Kite as an early engineer and helped grow it into a platform now powering some of the largest multi-brand fitness & wellness franchises in the industry. In 2026 it launched within Playlist — a company backed by industry leaders Mindbody and EGYM.
Over four years I worked end to end across nearly the whole platform: the member-management core, a payments engine that automates royalties across locations, marketing automation, real-time analytics, and the member-facing mobile and web apps — designing each piece and shipping it to production at enterprise scale.
- →Whole-product range. payments, data, automation, front-end — one person who can build it all.
- →Built to be trusted. reliability, secure access and clean architecture, not throwaway code.
- →Owns it idea-to-live. part of the team that turned a startup into enterprise software.

I build & launch

A senior partner, not just a pair of hands
I'm Emiliano Mazzaglia, a software engineer with 12 years building production software, specialized in scalable, fault-tolerant systems on AWS. I run my practice from Barcelona, Spain, working with clients internationally — including across the United States.
I've led development as a tech lead at startups in fintech and health & fitness, taking products from zero to fully working solutions. I understand the problem, design the architecture, write the code and get it live. You get someone who owns the outcome.
🍕 There's also a non-engineering side to me: I run La Boca en Barcelona @laboca.bcn ↗, a little Argentinean pizza & empanada shop in Gràcia. I handle its POS, deliveries and day-to-day systems myself — and I even automated its weekly financial & reviews reporting. I know what small-business software looks like from the owner's side of the counter, not just the developer's. That's the perspective I bring to your project.

Questions owners usually ask
The things people wonder before reaching out.
Do you work with non-technical owners?+
Absolutely — most of my clients aren't technical. I translate everything into plain language and handle the tech side, so you don't have to learn it.
What if I don't know exactly what I need?+
That's completely normal, and figuring it out is part of my job. On our first call we find the smallest version that solves your real problem, then build from there.
Do you maintain it after launch?+
Yes. I don't disappear once it's live — I can keep it running, fix issues and add features as your business grows.
Who owns the code and the data?+
You do. Everything I build is yours — code, accounts and data. No lock-in.
How much does it cost?+
It depends on scope, but you always get a fixed quote before any work starts — so you know the price up front, with no surprises.
